Ways to get involved helping at Many Helping Hands

There are many ways to volunteer with Many Helping Hands. We are always in need of people with our Day Center and Thursday Night Feed.

Volunteer Onboarding Form

What: In-Person Volunteering - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am till 2pm

Where: MHH Day Center in the Bear Creek Community Church 2700 Finley Rd. Irving , TX , 75062

Positions:

Transportation - Van Drivers for transport
Admin - checking in clients, checking bags, etc
Kitchen - Cook and serve lunch, clean kitchen / dishes, etc
Laundry - wash / dry / call clients to pickup
Clothes Closet - fill needs sheets
Clean Up - vacuum, wipe down, put away all Day Center items, including bathrooms and common areas

What: In-Person Volunteering - Thursday Evenings from 4:15pm till 6:30pm

Positions:

Check In - checking in clients, checking in new volunteers
Set Up Facility - open doors, turns on lights, put out signs, etc
Set Up Food Area - setup drinks, snacks, utensils
Panera Bread - unload bread and cookies, and organize. Distribute to clients.
Parkland Bus - organize Parkland bus trips for clients
Needs Taker - 2nd and 4th Thursdays only, take needs from clients
Bible Study - from 4:30pm to 5:00 pm
Food Prep / Quality - ensure food is correct temp and ready to serve
Food Delivery / Serving - serves food, cleans food area
Clothes Closet - manages clothes closet
Hygeine Table - setup hygiene closet, distribute to clients
Underwear Socks - setup inventory, distribute to clients
Clean Up - clean hall, clean bathrooms, clean kitchen
Check Out - check out clients and volunteers
